About The Position
Franz Family Bakery, a well-established bakery founded in 1906, is seeking a Part-Time Retail Outlet Associate to join our dynamic team in Albany, OR. As a leading bakery in the Pacific Northwest, we pride ourselves on producing a variety of high-quality baked goods that are distributed across several states including Alaska, Idaho, California, Utah, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. Our commitment to quality ingredients and superior baking processes has made us one of the most successful bakeries in the country, employing over 4,000 individuals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced retail environment where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the best products available. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, providing them with information about our merchandise, and assisting them in making selections. You will operate the point of sale (POS) system to process transactions, handle cash accurately, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store. Additionally, you will be tasked with inventory management, including restocking shelves and preparing merchandise for sale. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members alike. This part-time position requires flexibility in scheduling, as hours will vary based on business needs, with an average of approximately 18 hours per week.
