Outdoor Services Attendants serve as a primary team member and initial point of contact for all outdoor services activities at Stonewall Resort. These positions are responsible for working at welcome gate, campground, and marina areas. In times of need, these employees may be utilized across several areas. Each attendant must be sufficiently trained to perform all functions at the assigned primary station – Welcome Gate and/or Campground. This will include operation of all computer systems, cash handling, processing reservations, phone systems, etc. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform all duties in a professional manner and in accordance with company policies. Flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels and industry demand. Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Give clear and concise directions to various locations in the resort. Answer guest questions using excellent customer service skills. Overall: Must be well groomed, with nametag on at all times while working on the property. Must be well-mannered, always display a helpful attitude, greet guests when encountered, show appreciation to the guest for being at the resort, show willingness to help guests and employees at all times. Must coordinate operation of outdoor services stations with other departments in the resort. Must be open to new training and experiences. Ability to operate a wide variety of computer-based systems, including reservations and point of sale systems. Provides information on park and resort activities and policies. Provide assistance in other job classifications as determined necessary by immediate superior. Welcome Gate Activities: Collect the appropriate entry fee for guests entering the resort at the welcome gate. Must be able to appropriately manage “bank” transactions within the guidelines of the accounting department. Completes shift reports. Operates reservations systems. Supports guest calls related to reservations. Make and cancel reservations, as needed. Must fully understand and be able to communicate resort and park policies to guests. Maintain the proper flow of traffic entering the resort at the welcome gate. Clean welcome gate station, park administration building, and multipurpose building Campground Activities: Register guests for campsites and ensure that guests are taken care of. Distribute firewood to campers. Deal with guest issues. Reports all problems to their immediate supervisor. Perform minor maintenance activities in all areas, i.e., painting, plumbing, Clean all park public restrooms, park administration building, and multipurpose building. Must be able to thoroughly clean boats using potentially harmful chemicals to the skin (i.e., bleach). Inspects property and makes notations of issues within these areas. Clean ashes from firepit areas upon guest check-out, ensure that campsite is clean and ready for the next guest.
