About The Position

Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a dynamic team? If so, we want you to join our team as a Outdoor Plant Dock Crew Member! In this role, you’ll be working in our distribution center and inventory control yard, organizing plant orders and handling materials with various equipment. You'll also assist with the care of plants and ensure that everything runs smoothly for our customers. WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB: Get outdoors every day and enjoy fresh air while working with plants, trees, shrubs, and perennials. Operate a variety of equipment like forklifts, bobcats, and skid steer loaders to load, unload, and organize orders. Assist with the care and maintenance of plants, helping to keep them in top condition. Take part in snow removal activities during the winter, making sure our clients’ properties are safe and clear. Be part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment that values efficiency and quality.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous equipment operating experience (or willingness to learn).
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in outdoor conditions year-round.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, with bilingual English/Spanish skills being a plus.
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to working safely.

Responsibilities

  • Load plant material for customers, ensuring everything is accurate and complete.
  • Unload shipments and pull plants for orders, helping maintain the flow of inventory.
  • Operate equipment including forklifts, trucks, tractors, bobcats, and skid steer loaders.
  • Assist with plant care tasks, including watering, pruning, and basic maintenance.
  • Ensure your work area is clean, organized, and ready to serve customers efficiently.
  • Communicate any plant care issues with the Plant Care Specialist or Supervisor.
  • Follow safety guidelines and work efficiently with your team.
  • Assist with snow removal during winter months to keep our clients’ properties safe and clear.
