The primary responsibilities of the Instructor are to ensure safety and promote spiritual growth through teaching, activities, and personal example for the Outdoor Education Program of Palomar Christian Conference Center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The employee must accept the lodging from PCCC as a condition of employment for the convenience of the employer. Teach Outdoor Education classes and prepare an organized and active lesson plan based on the lesson plan prepared by the O.E. Manager. Occasionally lead evening campfires and teach campfire Bible lessons. Assist campers with their personal devotionals and materials. Assist campers in daily activities as needed. Help set up and run camp activities including but not limited to: group games, free time activities, theme nights, night games, and campfire times. Responsible for the campers’ care, safety, and well-being. Assist with wildland fire emergencies. Looks for and makes use of teachable moments.
