We are seeking an Outdoor Dining Food Runner to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. ---------------------------------------- Role Summary: The Food Runner will be responsible for servicing guests, assisting with functions for the server(s), delivering food to guest tables according to hotel specification, courteously and efficiently. This role will include assisting in the maintenance of the restaurant, pool area and equipment, and providing lateral service when necessary. This role is a flexible position (AM / PM) and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. We have a full-time position available. This role is designated for our outdoor dining outlet, Breeze Ocean Kitchen.

  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
  • Ability to understand guest’s service needs.
  • Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service several guests within any given period of time.
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
  • Certification in Alcohol awareness program.
  • Certification in Food Handlers program.

Responsibilities

  • servicing guests

  • Transport food items to the bar, dining room in timely manner and also to the lounge as needed.
