Requirements

1-2 years of hospitality and restaurant experience, customer service focus
Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Proven organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment.
Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines.

Responsibilities

Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair.
Report any inconsistencies to leadership.
Assist with setting and preparing tables and cabanas for dining, which may include, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
Assist Front of House Team Members with table service, which may include, but not limited to, serving beverages, etc.
Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s).
Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area.
Consistently account for and maintain cleanliness of tables, cabanas, service areas and equipment in the dining area.
Ensure Evermore Bay is consistently free of debris and has a positive appearance.
Complete side work as assigned.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Speak with others using clear and professional language.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, and complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
Engage in a positive guest focused environment.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
