About The Position

At Highlands Aerial Park, we don’t just run zipline tours—we create fun, memorable, and meaningful adventures for our guests every day. We’re looking for energetic, outgoing individuals who enjoy working with people, being outside, and being part of a high-performing team. No prior experience? No problem. We’ll train you to be awesome. As an Outdoor Adventure Guide, you’ll lead and support a variety of experiences throughout the park. Our guides are cross-trained across multiple attractions, creating a dynamic and engaging work environment where no two days are the same. You may guide or assist with: Zipline tours UTV (side-by-side) guided tours Aerial attractions, including a giant swing and tree climbs Kids and family adventure courses This is a high-energy, guest-facing role where your attitude, communication, and ability to create a great experience matter just as much as your technical skills.

Requirements

  • Positive, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • Enjoy working with people in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Reliable, adaptable, and willing to take initiative
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather
  • Ability to stay engaged, present, and professional throughout the day
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
  • Interest in creating great guest experiences—not just “doing the job.”
  • Must be at least 18 years old for guide roles (younger applicants may be considered for other positions)
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Comfortable being active (walking, hiking, standing for extended periods, working at heights)
  • Able to communicate clearly and confidently with guests and team members
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Must be able to complete and pass training requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead and assist guests through safe, fun, and engaging adventure experiences
  • Create a positive, memorable experience for every guest
  • Clearly communicate instructions, expectations, and safety guidelines
  • Support team members and help maintain smooth tour flow
  • Assist with daily operations, including opening/closing duties and general park upkeep
  • Adapt to different roles and responsibilities throughout the day
  • Represent the park with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm
