About The Position

The position involves working from Wednesday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with an hourly wage that is dependent on experience, plus a $2/hour shift premium. The role includes supervisory responsibilities, assisting the department supervisor and manager in leading and directing employees, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. The essential duties involve analyzing workload, coordinating staff for efficient performance, ensuring consistent execution of procedures, and maintaining documentation regarding the outbound operation.

Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in relative positions.
  • Ability to lift products up to 70lbs, with occasional team lifts for heavier weights.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift and during overtime situations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze workload and coordinate staff for efficient, accurate, and safe performance.
  • Ensure consistent execution of procedures and application of company policy.
  • Identify and communicate issues that would negatively impact customer service, safety, teamwork, and/or profitability.
  • Maintain excellent documentation regarding strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats impacting outbound operations.
  • Ensure integrity of all production and attendance information.
  • Evaluate and analyze opportunities to improve labor, supplies, operating costs, service to customers, and overall efficiency and quality.
  • Make recommendations through detailed memos, reports, and emails.
  • Promote a safe work environment through safety audits and employee coaching.
  • Complete assigned workload according to procedures to meet or exceed productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Effectively utilize system resources and equipment to process workload.
  • Communicate effectively with team leaders, supervisors, managers, and other departments.
  • Assist other departments and employees as necessary.
