About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Outbound Supervisor, this role is responsible for overseeing picking operations through the shipping process in a high-volume distribution environment. The position provides hands-on leadership, supports daily workflow, and ensures operational efficiency while assisting team members as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
3–5 years of experience in a high-volume distribution or warehouse environment
Experience with RF units and WMS systems highly preferred
Basic computer skills, including the ability to pull production reports and inventory records
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

Monitor conveyor lines to ensure smooth product flow and prevent overload or backlog
Oversee and support the replenishment process
Adjust staffing within the picking environment to ensure adequate coverage
Collaborate with other leaders to support operations in and around the pick module
Assist in managing break and lunch schedules
Track attendance, including late arrivals and early departures
Maintain a strong focus on Ecommerce and Retail order fulfillment
Investigate and trace discrepancies to identify root causes of errors
Segregate will-call and truck shipments from standard carrier shipments; palletize as needed
Track air and overnight shipments to ensure required cut-off times are met
Notify supervisor of process errors or performance concerns
Use pallet jacks and carts to move orders to packing, shipping, and staging locations
Train team members on department processes and procedures
Support 5S initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts
Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure all working tools are accounted for
Report unsafe conditions to leadership
Perform other duties as assigned
