About The Position

The core mission of the Outbound Specialist is to rotate between responsibilities including batching, training, and abnormal conditions. As a Red Stag Team Member, you will be continuously pursuing perfection as you cross train in multiple departments.

Requirements

  • Attendance and punctuality are a must. Consistently work your schedule and realize there will be mandatory seasonal attendance changes and requirements.
  • Must be willing to work overtime on short notice to meet clients’ goals. Sometimes in other departments.
  • Willingness to cross train in other departments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and utilize team lift assistance for heavier items.
  • Must be able to walk for long periods of time throughout large facilities and/or stand in one area for long periods of time.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with positive attitude and mindset.
  • Ability to understand processes and concepts involving the use of various pieces of technology.
  • Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Work within Red Stag Fulfillment’s mission and core values.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently retrieving orders using our technology and barcode scanners according to quantity, and product accuracy.
  • Loading and unloading trucks by using totes, jacks, and forklifts.
  • Packaging parcels in order to provide a pristine unboxing experience.
  • Maintaining and teaching all specific client requirements which vary from client to client.
  • Train new team members on metric goals they must achieve.
  • Assisting team members in troubleshooting equipment.
  • Ability to identify mistakes new team members are making quickly and help them to correct those mistakes.
  • Identify and solve different types of Abnormal Conditions (ACs) in a timely manner.
  • Accurately input data into spreadsheets.
  • Problem solves issues dealing with Packing Solutions.
  • Perform root cause analyses for ACs and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Perform detailed Quality Checks (QCs) on SKUs.
  • Use camera footage to decipher AC issues
  • Use of shipping software to batch orders together for picking.
  • Sort through various shipment types to ensure they are placed in the correct trays, so the assigned pickers are getting the correct work.
  • Maintaining flow through the batching process. Ensuring we do not bottle neck the packing stations.
  • Ensure accurate batch printing to avoid duplicate and missing batches.
  • Be aware of abnormal order flow and batch results. Communicate concerns to your lead.
  • Look for opportunities to batch more efficiently including bulk fulfill batching.
