About The Position

Job Description Position Overview: This role is a skilled and detail-oriented outbound shipping lead to oversee our outbound operations. The outbound shipping lead will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the shipment of products to customers, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Under the direction of the Outbound Supervisor. Position is responsible assisting in the management and operation of the warehouse including leading and giving direction to warehouse team members. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Three years’ experience in warehouse environment.
Minimum of one year experience in a lead role.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted (minimum three years’ experience).

Responsibilities

Maintain high customer satisfaction levels while ensuring high quality.
Assist in managing the outbound shipping team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
Coordinate with internal departments, including warehouse, inventory, and customer service, to prioritize and fulfill outbound orders efficiently.
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and requirements, including customs documentation, hazardous materials handling, and shipping labels.
Implement and maintain best practices for packaging, labeling, and loading/unloading procedures to prevent damage and loss during transit.
To oversee, coordinate, and participate in the picking and shipping of customers’ orders.
Measure and address the effectiveness of team member performance.
Control and organize order distribution and warehouse flow.
Communicate position expectations to team members.
Ensure housekeeping duties as assigned to keep the warehouse/shipping areas clean, safe and organized.
Maintain emails with a maximum of 24 hour response time during working hours.
Complete data Entry and Systems Updates.
Perform other duties as needed.
