About The Position

Remediation Services, Inc. (RSI), uses a team approach to coordinate our resources. We are staffed with seasoned professionals, highly trained project managers, equipment operators and technicians. RSI’s personnel are trained in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 and maintain their annual eight-hour updates. RSI mobilizes its own work force to provide remedial construction services. RSI, based in Independence, KS, is a premier nationwide contractor supplying innovative, cost-effective solutions to complex environmental remediation challenges. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated OTR Truck Driver to join our team.

Requirements

Truck drivers must possess a valid Class A CDL license with current medical card certification on file
Traffic laws/ Dot regulations/ driving knowledge/ able to pass random drug tests
Clean driving record
No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years
At least six months of OTR Experience
Must be willing to travel

Responsibilities

Haul and operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, & loaders
Transport oversize & overweight loads as needed
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working order and report any mechanical issues
Drive long distances to deliver freight to various locations, often across state lines
Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring that it is secured properly to prevent damage during transport
Maintain accurate records of hours driven, mileage, and any incidents that occur during the trip, including delays or accidents.
Communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers, providing updates on delivery status and addressing any issues that arise.
