About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Over the Road Truck Driver to transport goods across long distances in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong time management, and the ability to stay compliant with all federal, state, and company regulations. The ideal candidate is self motivated, responsible, and committed to providing exceptional service while representing the company on the road.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license required.
Minimum of 1–2 years of OTR driving experience preferred (company may adjust as needed).
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules.
Ability to drive long distances and remain on the road for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and safety procedures.
Ability to lift, secure, and maneuver cargo as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle across long-haul routes.
Transport freight to various customer locations throughout assigned regions.
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer.
Maintain accurate electronic logs in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Secure cargo properly using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and optimize fuel usage.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Report mechanical issues promptly and coordinate maintenance as needed.
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and industry safety standards.
Handle paperwork such as bills of lading, delivery confirmations, and expense reports.
