About The Position

Position is responsible for performing various daily duties as assigned by the OTR Repair Shop Manager to meet the demands of OTR Repair customers on a continual basis and facilitate the efficient production of quality repaired Mining OTR products. This position will entail all the duties listed below, as well as, training under our OTR Repair Shop Manager. This position does not require shift-work, regular hours are Monday through Friday.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Regularly lift 45 to 75 lbs
Requires standing and walking, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
Perform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry
Must be able tolerate fluctuations in temperature and humidity
Good verbal and written communication skills, time management and delegation skills, organization skills, can-do attitude, sense of urgency and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

Operate all related equipment and tools as trained
Operate independently and as a team member
Inspects and evaluate tires to ensure conformance to standards
Visually inspect tires to be repaired to determine condition and needs
Skive, buff, and fill any injury in tire as required as prescribed by training methods
Receive and unload supplies
Assists in distribution center activities as assigned
Perform routine inspection and maintenance on plant equipment following managers and manufacturers instruction
Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free
Practices safety methods in the operation of equipment and performance of duties
Use all safety related PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, etc., while doing any work
Other duties as necessary
