About The Position

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in New Jersey! This route runs from Bridgeport/Linden, NJ to El Dorado, AR and averages 2800-3000 miles per week. The role offers an average salary of $200-250K per year with bi-weekly home time. The compensation package includes all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
