About The Position
This is a locum tenens Otolaryngology (ENT) position located in Flagstaff, AZ, within a hospital service setting. The coverage type is call only, spanning from June 15, 2026, to June 19, 2026, with a continuous 24-hour call schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) including callback. The role involves caring for patients of all ages, with admissions, rounding, and phone consults included. The case mix primarily consists of general ENT cases, including inpatient consults and emergency ENT care. The facility is a Level I Trauma center with 268 beds, utilizing the Cerner EMR system. Standard ENT and surgical equipment are available, supported by multidisciplinary hospital teams and general hospital staff. The coverage is supplemental. Hospital privileges are required, with temporary and emergency privileges available and an expedited credentialing timeline.
Requirements
- Active AZ license required (willing to license)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
- DEA Required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Must be comfortable with trauma-level ENT cases
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour ENT call coverage
- Manage inpatient consults and emergency cases
- Perform ENT procedures as needed
