The Community OHNS division consists of Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeons who are employed by or formally affiliated with the Community Duke Health Integrated Practice (cDHIP) as physicians, who are practicing as full-time clinicians without academic effort. The division and its members primarily serve community-based referral networks while meeting access needs within communities that we serve. The Community Division Chief (CDC) is an employed cDHIP otolaryngologist within the Duke Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences (HNS&CS) with a direct report to the Department Chair in close collaboration with the Chief Physician Executive (CPE) of cDHIP. The goals of the Community Division include Clinical/ Quality Oversight, Strategy/ Growth, Cost Efficiency, and Education.
