Requirements

• Licensed OTA in Texas, maintaining good standing with the state board.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation systems (Casamba, Point Click Care preferred).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with staff, patients, and families.
• Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic healthcare setting.
• Passion for helping others regain independence and improve their quality of life!
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and pushing/pulling.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on therapy to patients under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist, following a physician-directed treatment plan.
• Track and document progress through daily notes, weekly reports, and required evaluations.
• Support Restorative Aide training to ensure patients receive ongoing care.
• Collaborate with the care team to adjust therapy plans and discuss patient needs.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies for continued progress after discharge.
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment area, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
