About The Position

As a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) at Powerback, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover and regain their independence. You will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. Your work will focus on addressing the whole patient, ensuring they receive personalized care in a compassionate atmosphere. You will collaborate with peers and make referrals as necessary to provide the best care for your patients. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to patients.
• Address the whole patient and see them as individuals.
• Execute programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals for additional patient care.
• Ensure patients and their families receive high-quality service.
