The position involves working with aboveground and underground plant equipment, including service drops, cables, and building terminals. Responsibilities include setting up, racking, splicing, transferring, repairing, bonding, and testing aerial, underground, and buried cable. The technician will read and maintain splice assignment diagrams and other design prints to ensure accurate as-built diagrams at the time of installation through any moves, adds, changes, and deletions. The role also requires mounting, cutting-in, and repairing cable terminal cases, as well as operating a company vehicle as required.
