About the position
The OSP Permitting Manager at KGPCo Services, LLC is responsible for overseeing the licensing and permitting processing team, ensuring proper closeout of contracts across multiple markets. This role involves managing a team of 8 to 12 permitting specialists, auditing files, and providing documentation related to contract closeouts. The manager will also handle day-to-day operations of licensing and permitting activities, including application processing and staff training.
Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and oversee the licensing and permitting processing team.
- Manage day-to-day operations of various divisional licensing & permitting activities.
- Train staff in the use of internal systems for permits.
- Request missing information from the engineering department to ensure proper permitting.
- Provide status updates on issues or problems and timelines for resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.
- 3-5 years of management experience preferred, but not required.
- Understanding of construction prints.
- Exhibit personal power and leadership.
