About The Position

The OSP Engineer (Fiber Optic Redlining) role at TEKsystems involves supporting the construction of fiber optic pathways in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position is part of a permitting team responsible for redlining new designs and obtaining approvals for various projects. The engineer will focus on engineering and splicing aspects of fiber plant construction, as well as maintenance and repair tasks once the plant is operational.

Requirements

• Experience in Outside Plant (OSP) engineering and design.
• Knowledge of telecommunications and construction processes.
• Proficiency in fiber optic technology and systems.
• Experience working with GIS systems, particularly ESRI.

Responsibilities

• Support the construction of the fiber network from an engineering and splicing perspective.
