Cyient Inc. currently has an opening for a remote based Outside Plant (OSP) Designer, responsible for OSP FTTP fiber work orders in Delaware and Western PA. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, intelligent individuals with previous OSP engineering and field data collection experience. Ideal candidates will have previous experience designing multiple OSP telecom projects simultaneously, including (but not limited to) FTTP (Fiber Distribution), HiCap and BAU projects, and be experienced with client software systems including ICGS/IDDS and iBwave. The work location can be remote or in market. If in market, the design engineer will also travel to the field to survey, confirm, and assess current field conditions and meet with the customer as they relate to ongoing designs. Candidate must be able to self-manage their workload and work schedule. The OSP Designer will be paid units.
