About The Position

We are expanding and seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and highly motivated OSP Design Engineer to join our innovative team. As an OSP Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-level preliminary route designs, coordinating with field teams, performing detailed OSP designs, preparing construction-ready design packages, maintaining quality control, processing revisions, and supporting additional project tasks.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of fiber optic design standards and industry best practices
• Hands-on experience with ARCGIS and field data collection tools
• Solid knowledge of FTTH network architecture
• Minimum 3 years of experience in OSP design or related telecom engineering roles
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and construction drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Smartsheet
• Skilled with GIS-based design software, especially ARCGIS

Responsibilities

• Developing high-level preliminary route designs for HLE requests, including initial cost estimates
• Coordinating with field teams for site visits, data collection, and project alignment
• Performing detailed OSP designs in strict compliance with customer design standards
• Preparing and delivering complete, construction-ready design packages
• Maintaining consistently high quality control scores across all assigned projects
• Processing revisions, cost changes, and as-built redlines to ensure accurate documentation
• Supporting additional project tasks as needed to ensure overall project success
