About The Position

Adjunct Faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. Adjunct Faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed. Adjunct Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Adjunct Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline. Adjunct Faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair within their respective departments and divisions.

Requirements

• Current OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Construction or General Industry certification.
• Ability to learn and utilize technology in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, including students, administrators, instructors, external agencies, business leaders, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned.
• May teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed.
• Support the institution's mission and vision.
• Abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies.
• Maintain currency in their teaching discipline.
• Report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair.
• Perform other duties as assigned (5%).
