About The Position

Job Summary: The Overage, Shortage and Damage (OS&D) position is responsible to document and research all receiving discrepancies. Coordinates with Purchasing and Accounting to resolve product discrepancies in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), Inventory and Safety procedures. Job Expectations: Research product discrepancies found during the receiving process Accurately documents receiving discrepancies in WMS Coordinate with Purchasing and Accounting to resolve discrepancies Monitor status of discrepancies to ensure timely resolution Coordinates Return to Vendor shipments Required to communicate and assist staff with issues receiving product into the system Ensure that all care is provided with respect to customer, client and co-workers’ rights Ensure a safe and clean work environment  Maintain confidentiality  Adheres to cGMP training and guidelines Adhere to work schedules in completing and performing assigned tasks The duties and responsibilities described above may provide only a partial description of this position. Requirements

  • Requires knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing practices
  • Ability to provide guidance and direction
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, accurate and thorough
  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent Self Starter/Team Player
  • Must have strong problem solving skills
  • Generally requires a minimum of (6) months to three (3) years of receiving clerk and general warehouse experience.
  • High School Diploma or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
  • Microsoft proficiency (WMS) system
  • Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy.
  • Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.
