The orthosis/prosthesis is designed to restore physiological function and/or cosmesis.

Requirements

• Bachelors or higher degree.
• Attended and graduated from an Orthotic and Prosthetic education institution accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) / National Commission in Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE) within the past ten years.
• Registered with NCOPE prior to starting the residency program.
• Possess a valid Class D driver's license and maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic patient care under the direction of a physician's prescription.
• Conduct patient assessment.
• Formulate and implement a treatment plan.
• Provide follow-up and practice management.
