About The Position

FlexStaff is seeking an experienced Orthotic Fitter to join our client's team at their Manhattan location. This role will include inventory control and ordering plus assisting patients in being fit with off-the-shelf orthotic devices such as braces, supports, and other orthopedic equipment. Opportunities for growth and if not already certified, the ability to become certified as a Orthotic Fitter.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a collaborative team
• Ability to lift, carry, and position orthotic equipment and assist patients as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist with fitting and adjusting prefabricated orthotic devices under the supervision of a certified clinician
• Educate patients on proper use, care, and wear schedules for orthotic devices
• Support clinical staff with patient intake, documentation, and follow-up care
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care and fitting areas
• Ensure inventory and supplies are adequately stocked and organized
• Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure high-quality patient care
