About The Position
This per diem position in the Prosthetics/Orthotics department is designed to provide on-site or on-call coverage for inpatient orthotics primarily on the weekends and holidays but could also include weekdays as needed. The position is responsible to provide direct patient care for adult and pediatric patients requiring a variety of orthotic devices. Duties include treating patients, fitting orthotic devices, taking inventory, documentation, stocking supplies, and interacting with staff, patients, volunteers and visitors. This position requires someone who can work independently or with indirect supervision. Holders of this job class are required to provide service to the multiple entities and sites affiliated with the UCLA Health including Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica. Position may convert to career.
