• Orthoptist - American Association of Certified Orthoptists
• Orthoptist - Joint Commission of Allied Health Personnel in Ophthamology

Responsibilities

• Receives and examines patients’ for strabismus evaluations.
• Informs parents on patient’s condition and explains course of treatment.
• Assists the teaching of strabismus evaluations to Residents.
• Assists the teaching of Orthoptic treatment to Residents.
• Initiates and collaborates in the ongoing clinical research, data collection and evaluation.
