Requirements

  • MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Georgia.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and community health.

Nice To Haves

  • Fellowship training in orthopedic trauma preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert orthopedic trauma care, including surgical interventions and post-operative management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including emergency medicine, critical care, and rehabilitation specialists.
  • Participate in trauma call coverage and support the hospital’s commitment to excellent trauma services.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement and clinical research initiatives as applicable.
  • Mentor and train residents and medical students (if affiliated).
