About The Position

The Orthopedics/Pain Management NP/PA position is a full-time role in a busy, high-end Sports Medicine practice located in Manhattan. The candidate will be responsible for managing non-surgical orthopedic, sports medicine, and pain management cases, primarily through in-office procedures. This role emphasizes evidence-based medicine with a focus on regenerative treatments, and the candidate will work closely with a team that includes physical therapists and chiropractors.

Requirements

• Current New York State Physician Assistant license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification.
• Master's degree in a relevant field.

• Experience working in a similar orthopedic or pain management setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and assessments of patients.
• Order diagnostic imaging such as x-rays and MRIs.
• Conduct non-surgical procedures as required.
• Establish and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records for each patient.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and management of musculoskeletal diseases.
