About The Position

The Guthrie Clinic is seeking a highly skilled BC/BE Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our established practice in Big Flats, NY. Our surgeons are specialty trained and offer the latest technological advancements while remaining committed to improving health through clinical excellence and compassion; Every Patient. Every Time. This position offers the opportunity to join an established Orthopedic Practice with a strong referral base, with a schedule that starts with 2 days in the OR and 3 days in the clinic. There is also an opportunity to regionalize to other Guthrie locations for practice growth, with procedures performed at the Big Flats Same Day Surgery Center, the region's first multispecialty ambulatory surgical center of its kind. The call schedule is 1:5 with APP coverage, and medical school faculty appointments are available through GCSOM. Leadership opportunities and support for further education are also provided.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Specialty training in hand surgery
• Commitment to clinical excellence and patient care

Responsibilities

• Perform orthopedic hand surgeries and procedures
• Manage patient care in both surgical and clinical settings
