Requirements

MD or DO, plus successful completion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
TX medical license or eligibility for licensure
Proficient in acute orthopedic trauma techniques, including complex fracture management

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care in the ED, OR, and inpatient setting.
Maintain response coverage within 30 minutes, delivering timely and expert care .
Collaborate with cross‑specialty teams including trauma surgery, acute care, anesthesia, and rehabilitation.
Participate in surgical decision‑making, performance improvement, and quality initiatives.
Mentor and supervise mid‑levels and trainees, supporting education and clinical excellence.
Contribute to SAMGI’s performance and compliance protocols.
