UCHealth Medical Group and the Orthopedic Trauma team, located in Pueblo, CO are ready to welcome an experienced Physician Assistant or RNFA Nurse Practitioner to their team. Position Details: Be prepared to adapt to the fast pace and evolving needs of a busy orthopedic inpatient trauma team. Utilize your Surgical First Assist expertise to play a vital role in achieving the best possible patient outcomes. Nurse Practitioners must hold a current RNFA certification. Benefit from a balanced 7 days on, 7 days off schedule with no on-call responsibilities, supporting a healthy work-life balance. Collaborate with a dedicated, multidisciplinary team focused on compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic trauma setting. Epic EMR used system-wide. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado or unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the ANCC or AANPCB.
  • Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in orthopedic trauma care.
  • Ability to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from HHS/OIG or GSA.

  • Pay range of $104,419 - $149,143 annually, dependent on experience.
