About The Position

The Orthopedic Technologist for First Physician Group (FPG) assists clinicians and providers with orthopedic casting procedures, including the application and removal of casts and splints. The role also supports routine examination and treatment procedures such as wound care and dressing changes. The technologist ensures continuity of post-operative care by providing casting, splinting, and bracing services.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Orthopedic Technologist.
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Orthopedic Technology (ROT) program.
• One (1) year of clinical experience in applying, adjusting, and removing casts.

• Demonstrated professional and caring attitude to patients, co-workers, and all customers of the organization.
• Previous experience with wound care, wound vacuum, dressing changes in a hospital, clinic or office practice.
• General surgery and/or trauma experience.
