Orthopedic Technician Per Diem
About The Position
Responsibilities Under direct supervision the incumbent is responsible for providing orthopedic care related to equipment and procedures, as ordered by Physician. The incumbent staff member also demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient population served. He or she must be able to assess and interpret data about patient’s needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the specific patient group. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Graduate of an approved school of Orthopedic Technology preferred. Orthopedic Technology Certification. Prefer 1 year related experience. Pay Transparency Olympia Fields Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $27.40. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
