Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.

Responsibilities
- Apply and Remove Casts, Splints, custom casts, or splints, coordinate care and intervene in response to patient’s needs.
- Assist with fitting and education of orthopedic bracing, ambulatory aids, and other durable medical equipment.
- Document care in patient’s medical record.
- Maintain inventory of casting supplies and equipment, check expiration dates of supplies, stock and clean clinic and exam rooms as needed.
- Provide education regarding casting-related activities to patients and their families, residents, nurses, medical students, and new staff.
- Assist with other patient care activities as needed/directed by supervisor and/or manager.
- May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.
