About The Position

This is a permanent Orthopedic Surgery position, specializing in General and Sports Orthopedics, located in Munster, IN. The role is based in a hospital/clinic setting and involves both clinical duties and call coverage on an ongoing basis. The clinical schedule is Monday through Friday with flexibility, while on-call shifts operate on a 1:6 rotation, covering both inpatient and outpatient needs. The patient demographic is adults, with an expected volume of approximately 30 patients per day in the clinic. Responsibilities include admissions, rounding, and phone consults. The case mix focuses on general orthopedics, with opportunities to incorporate sports medicine or other subspecialty interests. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system (HIMSS Stage VII) and is equipped with full orthopedic procedural capabilities. The successful candidate will benefit from a multidisciplinary physician network for specialty backup and an established physician group offering mentorship support. This position is available due to growth and expansion within the organization. Hospital privileges are required, with a credentialing timeline of approximately 90-120 days.

Requirements

• Eligible for IN license
• BC or BE in Orthopedic Surgery
• DEA Required
• Ability to work in collaborative group practice
