About The Position

Responsible for furnishing medicine services as reasonably required for patient care and the operation of the Department. Physician shall render services to patients in a competent, professional and ethical manner, in accordance with prevailing standards of medical practice in the relevant community. Perform professional and supervisory services in accordance with recognized standards of the medical profession and act in a manner consistent with the Principles of Medical Ethics of the American Medical Association. Serve in the Department as a physician, and conduct chart and case reviews and other such activities as directed by Hospital management. Requirements

  • Current and valid license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia.
  • Board Certification in Orthopedics and adequately trained to provide services in Orthopedics.
  • Possess current, unrestricted federal and Georgia permits to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.
  • Be a member in good standing of St. Mary's Medical Staff.
  • Hold a degree as a Medical Doctor from an accredited institution
  • Be Board certified in specialty
