About The Position
Prime Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at St. Mary’s of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time opportunity to provide high-quality orthopedic care in a well-established, community-focused hospital with access to advanced surgical technologies and collaborative clinical support. Saint Francis Hospital stands out as a premier destination for specialty services, which encompass heart care, cancer treatment, stroke management, orthopedics, and women’s health. Our facility is a respected acute care facility with approximately 200 beds, serving as a Level I adult trauma center and offering 24/7 emergency services.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited program
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois
- Excellent clinical, surgical, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat injuries or disorders of the musculoskeletal system
- Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in on-call coverage as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
