About The Position

Surgeon, to join Baylor Scott & White – Temple location · Responsibilities include patient care, resident and medical student education, research, and administrative duties · Faculty appointment with the Baylor College of Medicine commensurate with experience · Multi-specialty employed group of 19 fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons · Busy Level I Trauma Center with free-standing McLane Children’s Hospital · Interest in General Orthopedic Trauma Preferred · 4 resident/year Orthopedic Residency Program with dedicated Foot/Ankle resident · Foot/Ankle APP support · Guaranteed salary with potential to transition to the survey-based compensation plan after the first year · Full benefits with relocation Compensation based on experience benefits package in an employed position that includes: · Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits and time off · 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar employer match · 457(f) savings plan with employer contribution · Outstanding vacation allowance of 4 weeks of vacation and 3 weeks of CME paid days off per year· Excellent Relocation Assistance packages

Requirements

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
