When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As a Total Joint Arthroplasty Orthopedic Surgeon at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Fellow physicians specialize in orthopedic sports medicine, hip, knee and shoulder arthroplasty, hand & elbow, foot & ankle, hip preservation, orthopedic trauma, and non-surgical sports medicine. American Fork Hospital is currently a Level III facility, with a dedicated and functioning trauma program. We are currently seeking a fellowship trained Total Joint Arthroplasty Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team. In this role, you can anticipate: Practicing from the American Fork Hospital and American Fork Specialty Clinic You can anticipate 2 days per week in clinic and 2 days per week OR surgical time; patient-preferred hours are encouraged. Sub-Specialty call available to support Orthopedic Trauma Program; you may be asked to participate in call, but commitment varies by facility and need. Compensation offered for call requirement. Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support in clinic and OR. This position includes a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable). An ideal candidate will be fellowship trained in total joint arthroplasty with experience in a high-volume arthroplasty practice and complex revisions. Occasional general orthopedic call would be supported by a dedicated orthopedic trauma team comprised of three surgeons and multiple APPs. Requirements

  • Completion of graduate fellowship medical education training program in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Graduate education must be obtained through an ACGME or AOA accredited institution
  • ABMS or equivalent AOA Board Certification in the specialty(s) or subspecialty(s) of practice
  • Fellowship training in adult reconstruction / total joint arthroplasty
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • BLS certification and DEA
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
  • We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time
