About The Position

Legacy Medical Group, part of the Legacy Health system is actively seeking a full-time sports medicine surgeon to join our growing orthopedic team serving the Central Willamette Valley region in the highly desirable Silverton community. This position offers a full-spectrum general orthopedic practice caring for patients of all ages. The incoming surgeon will step into a well-established clinical and surgical schedule with a balanced mix of acute injuries, fracture care, joint and soft-tissue conditions, as well as elective and trauma-related operative cases. Foot & Ankle or Hand subspecialty a plus Participation in Level IV trauma call is required. The Orthopedics & Sports Medicine team operates across Silverton and its satellite clinics in Keizer and Woodburn, providing comprehensive musculoskeletal services in the region including surgical care, fracture management, advanced non-operative, and operative treatments. Requirements

  • Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent.
  • Completion of ACGME accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
  • Medical License for the applicable state.
  • Board Eligible/Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Membership on Legacy Silverton Medical Staff upon appointment.
  • Two to three years’ experience in the management of orthopedic patients preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Orthopedic Fellowship training preferred.
  • Foot & Ankle or Hand subspecialty a plus
