About The Position

Legacy Medical Group, part of the Legacy Health system is actively seeking a full-time sports medicine surgeon to join our growing orthopedic team serving the Central Willamette Valley region in the highly desirable Silverton community. This position offers a full-spectrum general orthopedic practice caring for patients of all ages. The incoming surgeon will step into a well-established clinical and surgical schedule with a balanced mix of acute injuries, fracture care, joint and soft-tissue conditions, as well as elective and trauma-related operative cases. Our department is recognized for its strong collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and we look forward to welcoming a surgeon who thrives in a team-based, patient-centered environment. Ideal for an orthopedic surgeon with a desire to be part of a growing orthopedic practice working with both adult and pediatric patients. Foot & Ankle or Hand subspecialty a plus Participation in Level IV trauma call is required. Requirements

Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent.
Completion of ACGME accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
Medical License for the applicable state.
Board Eligible/Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Membership on Legacy Silverton Medical Staff upon appointment.
Two to three years’ experience in the management of orthopedic patients preferred.

Nice To Haves

Orthopedic Fellowship training preferred.
Foot & Ankle or Hand subspecialty a plus
