About The Position
The Part-time General Surgeon/Physician at the Sioux Falls VA Medical Center is responsible for providing surgical and non-surgical treatment for orthopedic conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal diseases and injuries, participating in after-hours call schedules, and ensuring compliance with medical documentation and performance standards. The physician will also mentor residents and mid-level providers, contributing to the overall health and well-being of Veterans through a Whole Health System of care.
