About The Position
We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon / Orthopedist to join our medical practice in the Herndon, Northern VA, and Greater DC area. Ideally, we are looking for a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon or non-surgical orthopedist, trained in general orthopedics, to join a vertically integrated musculoskeletal practice specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of patients injured in motor vehicle accidents and work-related injuries. Additional specialties within the practice include neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, primary care, and chiropractic/physical therapy. In house services include physical therapy and chiropractic, (including aquatic therapy with land-based strengthening, work conditioning and work hardening, vestibular and cognitive therapy, and Functional Capacity Evaluations), electrodiagnostic, interventional pain management and x-rays. The paramount component of the administrative portion of the job duties is providing timely and accurate documentation/reports of the patient visits. Surgical services to our patients can be provided at local outpatient surgery centers or hospitals. We will consider an operative and non-operative Orthopedist. We have multiple locations where the Orthopedist will provide coverage including Manassas, Herndon, and Woodbridge on a part time basis. If the incoming physician wishes to add additional hours, we also have locations in Falls Church and Alexandria in which we need additional coverage.
