About The Position
Kaiser Permanente is seeking a BC/BE general orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in developing a total knee/total hip practice in Salinas, CA. The position involves proficiency in anterior total hip replacement, and candidates must be comfortable with fracture care and management of general orthopaedic issues until their practice grows. The role includes joining a satellite orthopaedic group in Santa Cruz County with participation in the Central Coast (Salinas and Marina). The community is known for its outdoor activities, including surfing, mountain biking, and hiking. The operating room is available one day per week, and while there is currently no need for ER call, candidates should be open to the possibility of taking general orthopaedic ER call at a local community hospital in the future.
