About The Position

Inova Health Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine is seeking board-certified (or eligible) Physician in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, or Emergency Medicine with Fellowship training in Sports Medicine. This Primary Care Sports Medicine physician will provide non-surgical musculoskeletal care in a growing area of Northern Virginia with a primary location in Fairfax, VA. Requirements

Board Certified or Eligible in in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, or Emergency Medicine with Fellowship training in Sports Medicine.
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical program
Active VA medical license or ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license to practice Sports Medicine and active unrestricted VA DEA or ability to obtain
Ability to successfully obtain credentialed privileges through Inova
BLS through American Heart Association

Responsibilities

Active participation in the assessment and development of a personalized care treatment plan that incorporates overall health, activity level and health goals with corresponding care teams.
Leverage cutting-edge technology – including a robust telemedicine platform – to deliver efficient, personalized care.
