About The Position

District Medical Group (DMG) is looking for a full-time Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join our Orthopedics Department. We staff Valleywise Health—a community hospital and designated Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center by both the State of Arizona and the American College of Surgeons—right here in metropolitan Phoenix. You’ll have access to state-of-the-art surgical technology and the support of a collaborative, mission-driven team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care, skilled in complex spine procedures, and committed to staying current with advances in the field. In this role, you will be involved with all regions of the spine. You’ll also take part in ongoing professional development through conferences, seminars, and workshops to maintain licensure and stay up to date on the latest techniques. Starting orthopedic residency program and will have active involvement in resident education, academic conferences, and teaching activities. DMG is a physician-owned, not-for-profit faculty practice group with more than 400 providers across all major specialties and subspecialties. Our physicians hold faculty appointments and teach through the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance, which includes a fully accredited ACGME General Surgery Residency. We’re also home to the only ACGME-accredited Surgical Critical Care residency in Phoenix. In addition, Valleywise Health is one of just 13 hospitals in the nation accredited by the American College of Surgeons for both Adult & Pediatric Trauma and Burns. Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
  • Current Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain one)
