About The Position
HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital is assisting in the recruitment of a Board-Certified Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join a local private practice in Pinellas Park, FL. Duties: Patient exam/evaluations and consults (medical history, physical exam, review imaging/reports and tests) Order and interpret diagnostic tests/labs (MRIs) Referral for care/therapy when medically necessary (physical therapy, pain management, and chiropractic care) Diagnosis and treatment care plan formulation Patient education as to care plan/surgical options, therapies and modalities, and post care instructions Documentation and timely progress notes Collaboration with the multispecialty team for comprehensive patient care Patient follow up and reexams
